“RENEW YOUR IDEA OF MAKING SHOES” Project made Thanks to the synergy between three companies, which have identified opportunities in what was considered disposable until today.
The ONU agenda for 2030 drafted by the united nations sets 17 goals on sustainability developments focused on people, our planet and its prosperity, underlining at point 12 the importance of guaranteeing production models that aim to “do more and better with less”.
The OLIANS 4 R.ECYCLE – ASOLTEX FOR SUSTAINABILITY – INDUSTRIA CHIMICA MEDITERRANEA want to show that it’s possible to make a shoe with certified recycled raw materials, preserving comfort, the design and being careful to the planet.

OLIANS 4 R.ECYCLE is a new department of Olians Plast Srl that produces and aims to promote the use of recycled thermoplastic polymers in the footwear industry. Recycled polymers are obtained from the recovery of pre-consumer byproducts that most of the companies destined to the landfills until today.
We can supply a range of recycled tpu in different colours, with a percentage of recycled content that can reach 95% and characteristics comparable to a first-choice material. Ee also developed an innovative transparent/opaline version that can be used as a base to obtain any type of colour.

Fulcrum of this innovation is the compliance to the global recycled standard criteria, together with the guarantee of reaching the performances required by a demanding market such as the footwear industry.
